Jean-Claude Malarmey French Studio Pottery Cylinder Vase
This is an absolutely stunning Geometric patterned Cylinder Vase,
masterly created by Jean-Claude Malarmey (1932-1992) circa 1960.
After having moved to Vallauris 1954 he worked in the studio of Jean Rivier.
Then with Robert Pérot and Dominique Baudart, he founded the workshop of the 'Vieux Moulin'.
In 1957 he went on to run his own atelier.
Often Roger Collet would turn for him while he concentrated his
attention to detailed geometric patterns and also zoomorphic works.
This tall ceramic stands 24cm/9.5" high, with a diameter of 10cm/4".
It is marked at the base 'MALARMEY'.
It is in excellent condition - no cracks, chips, or scratches.
